

Happy Halloween!!
Please note the following guidelines to ensure everything runs smoothly:
Costumes can be worn to school. Please make sure your student has clothing under their costumes.
If your student wears an inflatable costume they will be asked to take it off and wear normal clothes after the classroom parades.
If the costume is a distraction for the learning environment or they cannot sit at their desk, they will be asked to take the costume off.
In accordance with district policy, no props or accessories are allowed, no weapon replicas, (toy guns, swords, etc.).
Also according to district policy, No masks or face paint are allowed as part of the costumes.
Costumes that are gory or have any resemblance of blood are not permitted.
Please ensure that your child arrives at school wearing their costume in the morning.
Unfortunately, we won't be able to accept costumes brought in if students forget them.
The classroom parade is for staff and students only.

If your child missed the original picture day or you weren't happy with their first photos, make sure they're ready to smile for the camera tomorrow!

5th grade parents: please line up in the front like normal after school pick up. Leave the middle lane open for staff members to direct your student to your car.
6th grade parents: please form a line on the South side of Challenger towards the back recess gate. You may enter through the Transportation / Print Shop entrance.
If you have a 5th and 6th grade student please stay in the front pick up line for 5th grade.

Daily wristband wearing: Students should wear their earned wristbands every day to show their accomplishments and access their prizes. Don't lose them! We cannot replace them if they are lost, and you'll need them for all earned incentives!

We're excited to update you on our FunDrive Campaign that launched on Monday, September 15th. Due to a delivery issue with our campaign materials, we're extending the fundraiser to give your students the full experience they deserve!
What Happened?
The prizes, wristbands, and parent information packets were not delivered to our school as scheduled. The company has apologized for this oversight and assured us that all materials will arrive very soon. You should also receive a direct email from the company regarding this delay and information regarding our fundraiser.

Where Does the Money Go?
All proceeds support our Challenger PTO and go directly back to benefit our staff and students. Teachers can apply for PTO grants to fund:

Additional classroom technology
Other educational resources
The sooner donations are received, the sooner students get their wristbands and can start enjoying their earned prizes!
