I have been the counselor at Challenger since the fall of 2006. I taught 8th grade math in Goddard before becoming a counselor. I earned a bachelor degree in mathematics from Fort Hays State University and my masters in counseling at Wichita State University.
When I'm not counseling I am spending time with my family. My husband and I have two sons, James and Blake. They keep us very busy. We like to visit family near Great Bend (where I'm from) and in Colorado (where my husband is from). We like to swing dance, watch movies, and ride our bikes. I enjoy making jewelry and other crafts in my spare time.
I love working with our Challenger 5th and 6th graders. They are so much fun to talk to. I enjoy having lunch bunches with the kids and going into their classrooms to teach lessons.
